Is there anyway to make FireFox save everything in my profile folder, so I can back it up/take it with me? I've already been using FireFox for a while, so I have a lot of customizations installed.

When I say everything, I mean toolbars, favorites, all extensions, themes, what toolbar buttons I have showing, browser settings, everything.

Is this possible? How would I go about converting everything? Or do I need to start over and "do it the right way"?

it's done automatically...I share my FireFox profile between like 5 computers and whenever I format one..everything pops right back up the way it was

Are you sure everything goes in there? I think some extensions are installed to the FireFox directory, as well as all the additional search engines you add to the google box in the top right.

Well, the only extension I use is AdBlock and it's easy to reinstall, and I only use google so everything works for me.

Uninstall those extensions and reinstall them in your profile. I'm pretty sure all extensions have this option, or installs to the profile as default..

As for the search engines, not sure though

A lot of extensions just installed, I had no option. Some I had the option on, and installed to my profile directory. How can I specify my profile directory for those without the option?

You can't. The author has to do that. Alternately, you can do a little searching and figure out how extension installation works (it's quite simple) and change the installer to install to your profile. I've done it for a couple of Mozilla extensions I use.
