firefox issue: 2 sites with certs that have same serial

Red Squirrel

I need to be able to access two websites at the same time but they use https with a certificate that happens to have the same serial and firefox refuses to load the 2nd page. If I clear the cert I can load either one, but the next wont load.

Is there a way to force it to store two certs with same serial? I did some searching and this is a known bug but I could not find a work around. I could use IE but I hate having a million windows opened. Anyone who works at a help desk can relate to this, you need to have tons of stuff open at all times to do this job. IE is standard to the company so they would probably refuse to fix the cert issue on the site.
