Firefox help needed

I saved my IE favorites from my work computer on a cd-r and want to transfer them to my new Win7 home computer in Firefox. I have hundreds of folders with hundreds of weblinks. Firefox wants me to individually transfer them and that will take forever. Any suggestions for an easier way to do it? I am using Firefox ver 6. Thanks.

Copy the contents of the IE Favorites on your CD to the IE Favorites folder in 7. Open Firefox and select: Bookmarks>Show All Bookmarks>Import and Backup>Import Data from Another Browser.

In the Import Wizard dialog box select: Microsoft Internet Explorer>click Next> select which items you want to import>click Next.

Now when you click Bookmarks in Firefox you'll see this folder: "From Internet Explorer" containing all your old, and current, IE Favorites.

I'd suggest updating Firefox to the latest version first.
