I originally posted this in Software, but I guess I should have posted it here...

I've been using (and loving) Firefox, but there are times where I cannot see certain items at certain websites. I am perplexed and was hoping someone could help a FF noob out.

Here's an example: When I visit This site in IE, everything is fine. When I visit it in FF, I don't get the flash portion at the top. Other sites with flash work fine.

Any ideas?

I'm running FF and I see the Flash nav menu at the top of the screen. Maybe you need to re-install Flash?

Also do you have the FlashBlock extension installed? That will replace all flash objects with a play button that you have to click to run that flash object. Cuts down on the annoying flash ads.

Some sites, irregardless, don't work right with FF - mostly causes text mis-alignment. I use the IEView extension to allow me to easily right click on any page and load it in IE. I hate IE and only use it if I have to.

do you have the adblock extension installed? that may also contribute to blocking flash files.

Thanks all for the replies. I appreciate the help.

I tried to tinker with Adblock, and it wasn't the problem (luckily). I don't have flashblock extension, so it wasn't that either.

I completely uninstalled Flash from my comp, and re-installed from scratch. Everything seems to be working now.
