Firefox gets an all-new private browsing mode

It didn't have that yet??

It had "private" browsing, but because of the largely monolithic model used you couldn't have windows in both private and normal mode. Once private browsing was activated it closed your public tabs/windows and restored them when deactivated.

If you open a PRIVATE SESSION you dont want any tabs in regular mode!

That's kind of the way I see it. Mistakes can happen when things are jumbled together. If I want private browsing, I use Tor, and the whole thing is private. I also setup my Tor browser so it looks very different from my primary browser. That helps prevent brain dead mistakes.
