Question Firefox doesn realize what version it is running

I noticed a couple of weeks ago that when the wife was trying to log into her benefits site using FF that the site complained about FF being too old of a version. I told her to use Chrome instead and that worked. Now I went and launched FF today, went into Add-ons, searched for and found what I was looking for only to be told that it required a version of FF version at least 50. Attached is a screenshot of what version I am running:

Is not version 70 greater/newer than 50? I am running this on Windows 7 Pro, which is completely up to date. Ideas on how to track down the culprit and invoke a solution--other than upgrading to Windows X.

It seems mine works fine. Perhaps another add-on is interfering with it?

Perhaps uninstall firefox and then download the newest one and install it.

I went back and reinstalled LM19.2, which defaultly installs FF70, which then thinks it isn't when trying to install the FVD add-on. I used a tutorial to purge FF70 and installed FF68 and behold, it recognized itself as being of worth enough version and let me add on the FVD add-on. FF then immediately upgraded itself to FF70 instead of going through the update manager because FF68 was manually installed. LOL
