firefox - "Document Contains No Data"

any ideas how to solve this issue? i've been poking around for solutions on google, and i've tried a few, but so far notihing seems to work.

i keep getting a "document contains no data" error when i try checking email, or doing anything else that requires me to click a button on a website.

espn.com worksf fine for me ... I have the pg blocklist from methlabs.org/sync also.
 
mail.yahoo.com, hotmail, ebay.

the problem was to do with MTU settings on the router and on the system. problem solved.
