it happens to me once in a while, dont select a new profile when it happens. ctrl+alt+del and end firefox.exe and it should come back

I've never had that happen.... and I've been using Firefox for quite a while. Many people have told me that they've lost their profiles... I guess I've been lucky.

Of course, I make backups frequently anyway.

I've never lost any bookmarks, settings, etc. using Phoenix/Firebird/Firefox.

Worst that I've had happen is it's still running in the background after a crash and it loads up a default profile when I attempt to launch it again.

firefox crashes a lot for me. bunch of saved stuff gets borked each time.

It happend to me and I lost 6 months worth of bookmarks (300 or so bookmarks).

Actually firefox has been rock solid stable since they patched that stupid problem where it would randomly crash when printing.
