Firefox closing randomly on me

Every so often, my browser (firefox) just closes down everything in the blink of an eye. Not sure why it would do that, but it's annoying. I'd like to stop it from doing that

Uninstall, clear the profile, reinstall.

that should do it. you may want to backup your bookmarks etc.

I did that when i installed it, just do it again?

check your cool and quiet... it causes trouble sometimes when you have DEP turned on to Hardware...

it's disabled anyway, don't think it'd matter

The only time I've ever had this happen is under linux and using the mplayer plugin.

You cleaned out your profile too? Most people don't know about the profile or forget to clean it out.
