My reason, I type what I want in the address bar and it directly takes me to the website, for example, I type "anandtech forums" and voilà... Chrome, takes me to the google search result page. List yours...

*EDIT*
after sustaining much bashing, I have respectfully changed wallah to voilà. I seek the internet's forgiveness.

In Chrome, you can't Ctrl+B / Ctrl+I to add bold / italics tags to selected text.

Chrome >>> Firefox

It deals with retarded Flash updates all on its own.

It updates regularly and predictably. The development is much faster in general.

It's faster.

It has the kick ass Chrome sync.

It has per tab processes.

It has better extensions, which it updates seamlessly and requiring no input from the user.

It is more secure.

Browser start time is faster.

It blocks shitty Java when it's out of date--again, security.

I can install and uninstall extensions without restarting the browser.

Integrated superbar for search and URLs.

This. Chrome's ad-blocking is not there. Also, extensions are seriously gimped in Chrome. It's like the cut out a bunch of shit to make the browser "faster" but that just makes it a bare-bones browser.

Chrome's ad blocking is the same as FF.

Chrome has ABP....this has been covered many times.

No, what's been covered is your opinion, as espoused in the current thread in the Software for Windows forum, which I simply don't agree with. ABP does not work as well in Chrome as it does in Firefox.

In general I'm loving chrome. The awesome bar on firefox I find is slightly better, but not enough to make me care one way or the other.

The biggest gripe I have is that in chrome, large complicated pages (like the front page of engadget.com) will not scroll smoothly while they are loading. Once its done loading all is well, but its rather frustrating sometimes.

In short, whatever floats your boat, they are both good.

Oh, and ad-block on chrome now stops the ads from loading at all, which was the main downside when compared to firefox

For me, Opera >> Chrome >> Firefox, and here's why:

Visual Tabs
Email Client
Panels
Customization (eg, my tab-bar is on the right)
Private Tabs
Other browsers require third-party addons to equal Opera's built-in functionality
Keyboard shortcuts
Mouse Gestures

I'm sure I'm forgetting some things...

The problem with Chrome is its address bar not only has to deal with URL history but also searches.

This pisses me off. And searches are not instant either, so as you type, it might show Anandtech forums say the ATOT forum because you go there a lot. But then the Google Search kicks in and knowing we ATOTers type at 100wpm+, by the time we see "Anandtech Forums" and register to click on it, the google search which is slower then searches the main AT page and takes us there... Or some random review.

I hate the Chrome search bar. It's just horrendous and half the time it fails to pull up my history. In FF, it's excellent at responding to search as you type in the title of the page you went to a few days ago.

Yeah this, I think chromes blocking is actually better than FFOX actually.

I thought Chrome's blocking loads the ads still but just hides them. The APIs for extensions and custom stuff just IS NOT as good on Chrome. People said this in 2008 when Chrome started picking up steam, but I still don't see it being good enough.

*Snip*

No see that the thing, its not URL history, even if my history is clean, all browser cache cleaned, it still does that. It has nothing to do with my browsing history.
