Firefox and Vista Ultimate

I am running latest version of firefox on vista ultimate 64 for no reason sometimes firefox stops responding, I have to kill it then everything looks ok.

Has anyone had the same problem with firefox running on vista 64 bit

No problems here. But (don't shoot me) on V64 I'd recommend IE, it's currently more secure than FF on Vista do to the use of low privledge mode and virtualization.
 
Running it fine on Vista Business 64 here. There have been a couple times where it would hang for a few seconds after clicking a link, but it usually recovers fine. Are you running any weird extensions?

I've run Firefox + Vista x64 since the day i installed Vista x64.

Runs like a charming princess.
 
I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.6 with no problems with Vista x64,do you have any extensions installed with Firefox that might be causing the problem?

FYI I have only 3 extensions installed in my Firefox.

Maybe try a complete uninstall of Firefox and reboot ,run CCleaner then try reinstalling Firefox with no extensions,if you get no problems then install them one at a time.
