Firefox and Ctrl+F

When I hit Ctrl+F, the bar at the bottom pops up but when I put anything in it, it doesn't find it, even when I'm looking at it on the page. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?

I'm sorry, I'm just not getting any replies in the software forum, and since ATOT is more active, and other people ask about programs here, I thought I'd give it a shot. No need for rudeness Nik.

Try making a new profile, this seems to fix it (and copy your stuff back to this new account)

You can run the profile manager by specifing the p flag while running firefox

(firefox.exe -p) no paran.

Thanks for braving the flames Merlyn, I actually encountered that before too. And thanks C.R. and Cerb for the info.

lolz

what's strange is it seems to be an on again off again problem. It works sometimes, and other times it doesn't.

Go to the advance option and enable Find as you type. Don't need to ctrl-F anymore, just type something to search for it.
