Firefox 3.0 beta 5 freezes...

Anyone else having this problem? I've been using Firefox 3.0 beta 4 and 5, and lately I've been getting random hard freezes (entire computer locks up) when opening Gmail, or Yahoo, etc when switching from http: to https:. Everything else runs fine, I can play games, benchmark, Prime95, etc, etc, so I don't think it's a stability problem; just a random hard freeze.

Any ideas?
 
No clue, try reinstalling after uninstalling previous versions of the browser?

Does it bother anyone that you can only see the sites you visit most often in the address bar?

Like what if I like to visit a site once in a while that isn't in my bookmarks, I just have to look through history? Am I missing some option here?
 
One thing I've learned is that older versions of Firefox 2 bookmarks don't work with Firefox 3. And I had to delete my Firefox 2 profile and start fresh with a new profile. Browsing is now nice but chat sites still don't work with Firefox 3.
