Firefox 2 install question

Do I just install over the old one? Or does the installer know how to update from my old version?

Will it keep my old bookmarks?

Want to install it, but I'm of the school that if it's not borken .... don't fix it.

unless it goes crackish on you .. it updates your old version, preserves your bookmarks and everything.

if you're super superstitious, you can save your bookmarks or your entire profile and then install.

It preserved my bookmarks, home page, toolbar & window size settings and the two plugins I use.
