This looks like a solid Firefox release. I'm excited about this new split view feature. It looks like something I might use regularly. The free VPN may also come in handy. Tab Notes looks like a nice feature.

  • View two pages side-by-side in a single window with the new Split View feature that makes it easier to compare information, research topics or work across two pages at once. To create a split view, select one or two tabs and choose Add to Split View or Open in Split View.

Here is a short video clip about the split screen feature. The video should start where they are talking about the feature. He also talks about the other features if you're interested.

Is split view for people who don't have a window system? I don't get it.
Whatever, a harmless addition.

There are times when I'm comparing the specs of two product or hashes where it would be nice to have two screens side by side. Sure I could use two windows but then I would have to resize and position them. For my usage the split screen would be faster.

Looks cool, but it'll be awhile before I get it cause debian. I like that they added Norwegian to translate. I usually have to pick Swedish, and figure out the wonky bits myself. Interesting that Swedish gives a better translation than Icelandic does. Maybe some time when I'm bored, I'll try to figure out why.

I totally agree with this. Prior to split view, it was definitely a pain opening two windows side-by-side for comparison.

I'll definitely be glad when it (hopefully) migrates over into Waterfox.
