In SeaMonkey 1.0 alpha, you can set backspace to do any of: nothing, pageup, go back (feature added by yours truly ). The builds here are basically 1.0 alpha release candidates - give them a whirl, let us know if there are problems.

Sweet. I'll install one if Comcast ever decides that they should give me a connection to the internet again.

I hate not being able to connect.

EDIT: This one basic feature (that works EVERYWHERE else basically since forever ) would keep me from ever installing Fx again.
