You can get it at mozilla.org. For those of you more interested in the suite, we're getting ready to do a release, and need testing - builds are available in the *-mozilla1.8 directories here.

Firefox has been crashing big time on me lately. I have three computers, it does it on all of them. I wonder if they had an extension in commmon?

What platforms are available for the suite? Linux and Windows appear to be it. :(
Got a compiler? Get on irc.mozilla.org #seamonkey and we'll help you compile for other platforms.

FF 1.5 is working great on my Mac though.

Edit: Spoke too soon. Problems:
  • Find as you type wouldn't let me type in this box here.
  • The backspace key isn't letting me go "back."

:(

Great version! Forward and back page's are cached better now, very speedy on forums.

EDIT: You can drag tabs!

Wow the browser is a heck of a lot faster. Doesn't seem to be any noticable bugs on windows.

Very nice impression however its slow at browsing. I had to to do the about:config network.etc.. tweaks and it was working just like before. Unfortunately the Qute skin isn't compatible and the keyconfig extension isn't either. I'm just used to hitting Ctrl+N for a new tab. Oh well. Still performing quite nicely.

ctrl t doesn't require an extention.

But I would like to use Ctrl+N to open a new tab instead of open a new window.

There is a keyconfig extension for firefox. I'm happy with the normal shortcuts so I haven't used it. Also I'm not sure if it'll work properly in the new 1.5 beta.

Keyconfig does work. :p I just loaded it up after tweaking the max version number in the install.rdf and it works just fine. I even switched ctrl-t and ctrl-n. Oh, I used keyconfig enhanced, but I'm sure the plain version will work too.

Fx? If by Fx you mean firefox, then yes it does.

Yes, I mean Firefox.

From the FAQ
How do I spell Firefox? How do I abbreviate it?
Firefox is spelled F-i-r-e-f-o-x - only the first letter capitalized (i.e. not FireFox, not Foxfire, FoxFire or whatever else a number of folk seem to think it to be called.) The preferred abbreviation is "Fx" or "fx".

You know after all this time of using firefox, I've never once read the FAQ. Hmm, I think I'll keep typing out firefox, Fx just doesn't seem like an intuitive abreviation.

In SeaMonkey 1.0 alpha, you can set backspace to do any of: nothing, pageup, go back (feature added by yours truly ;)). The builds here are basically 1.0 alpha release candidates - give them a whirl, let us know if there are problems.
