It's a book......about Firefly stuff.

Now that you posted a link, I see that HeroOfPellinor; but the fact that Joss is the author, and was so adament about not continuing w/ the series, I'm gonna pass. He's doing it for the money now! :|

Most likely. I think he gets off on his little under-appreciated went-out-too-early Internet-phenomenon show, but lacks the balls to dare to bring it back and ruin it's cult status. So, ya, these books would be him stroking it and raking in some cash.

The other possibility is that he's contructing a foundation on which to assert the shows long-term viability and get it back on the air in more than some WB/Sci-Fi Channel bastard-ass manner....i.e. Showtime or Fox.

Looks like Volume Two will follow 6-9 months after.

Release date in the UK is actually two months earlier for Volume One than in the US. So possibly Late July as opposed to late September

Never watched the Firefly series, but I watched Serenity the other day and got the basic plot of the story. Looks pretty good. I might rent the Firefly series.

It's only 4 DVD's, well worth the rental and time IMO Baked 🙂
