Okay, been reading about all the dotcom layoffs the past weeks/months and lots of people griped about not getting paid, bad severance deals, etc.
Anyways, the Atlanta Braves laid off a bunch of people (30?), and some of them griped to the newspapers about how unfair, blah blah... but they never mentioned that their severange package includes a year's salary. WTF?!?!?!? I've heard of people getting a month or two, but a whole year's salary?!?!? And these people are complaining? I know it sucks to be laid off, but that sounds like one awesome deal.
