No, this isn't a gun nut thread.


But for those of you who enjoy counterstrike, I highly recommend the Firearms Modification for Half-Life.

After having downloaded it, I can say it really really rocks.

I know this is blasphemy, but I think it is actually better than counterstrike.

Give it a go. You won't be disappointed.

i gave it a shot a while ago, I was very disapointed. Counterstrike is so much better, but thats just my opinion, i could be wrong.

I like firearms also, but I play CS, and DOD to.

My rank for CS mods that I play goes in this order:

6) Science & Industry
5) Front Line Force
4) Global Warfare
3) FireArms
2) Counterstrike
1) Day of Defeat

GO get Day of Defeat.

Yep, DOD rules over all, but I think I'll test drive Firearms and see how I like it.

Ive got DOD, and I do like... Especially Omaha (though some people just hate omaha).


DOD makes my CS game suck, while Firearms noticeably improves it.

CS is still the defining benchmark, but I'm playing Firearms much more these days... I've made it to major...
