MY FD is the same way. We've got a vending machine full of soda and another full of beer. They both operate without putting in coins also.

What is the big deal? At my old job 2 beers was acceptable at lunch.
Did have to drive a big friggin' truck, operate machinery, run into a burning building or administer first aid at your old job?

Did you even read the article? They have a zero tolerance policy - anyone who's had a drink doesn't go out to fight a fire.

Did you read what he posted? To me it sounded like he was saying that it was OK to have a couple of beers because he did it at his last job. I was pointing out why it was not OK for these guys to have any beer while they were working.

Well if you think about it, that's not much better. What if nobody comes to save you when your house is burning because they've all had a beer from their machine.
