Fire incident at ASML Berlin
3 January 2022 - ASML Holding N.V. (ASML) announces today that there was a fire last night inside a part of its factory in Berlin, Germany.

I got a bad feeling about this.
Allegedly, ASML berlin is involved in wafer clamp and mirror block production, among other things:The biggest limiting factor for EUV scanner production rate is the light source, at least this facility isn't involved there. Hopefully everything this factory makes is available from another source, or they have sufficient working inventory to carry them through until it is back up and running.
Supposedly only a 200 sq meter area was damaged, in a 32,000 sq meter plant. So the everyone has to hope it wasn't some hard to replace tooling that bottlenecks the whole production line.Allegedly, ASML berlin is involved in wafer clamp and mirror block production, among other things:
Employee break area maybe . . . ?Supposedly only a 200 sq meter area was damaged, in a 32,000 sq meter plant. So the everyone has to hope it wasn't some hard to replace tooling that bottlenecks the whole production line.
Or as a famous IT dept worker once said....This is fine
