Probably is, but it might depend on how much the price difference is.

My wife's grandmother just had it run down her street. They're asking less than I currently pay for cable internet.

i'm in Yardley, PA (NE Philly more or less). currently i'm at 6 m/s down, 384 up.

ya, i guess fios would be significantly faster at 15 mb down and 2 mb up.

the 15 / 2 is available for $39.95 / month for 6 months and 44.95 after.

the 30/5 is available for $179.00 / month (a bit more than i want to pay).

fios 15/2 is cheaper, i haven't priced fios 30/5 yet.

Isn't 30/5 $169 in most areas?

I want Verizon Fios + Fios TV in our area. Unfortunately I live in Seattle (Seattle proper, not one of the suburbs) and it doesn't look like it's slated for installation here anytime soon. ******.

I get to connect my moms FiOS next month. The town she's in ran it themselves and it's charged like a public utility. I think she's getting full 30/5 for something like $30 a month :|
and she only surfs the web! :|
