Came home this afternoon to my internet being down. Called Verizon, FSC had me fiddle with the ONT, no good, so they sent a tech out. (Originally they scheduled one for tomorrow, but they were able to bump that up to today.)

So apparently, my fiber wasn't lit at the ONT. Tech left to go look at the fiber hub, after attaching a visible laser to my fiber.

I hope that he can fix it tonight.

Edit: He just came back; someone had unplugged me at the fiber hub.

In our condo complex, I'm pretty much locked into Cox Cable rather than FIOS.

I just bumped up my web speed from 'Preferred' (25/10) to 'Premier' (50/25) for an extra 'promo' price of $5/month for 6 months. Just came from the SpeedTest website to confirm the increase in speed...

To a server @ 60 miles away with a ping of @26, I got 63/Down and 28/Up... 🙂
