Fink with Apple's X11 server

I am using 10.3 and was just running fink selfupdate. After that I ran fink update-all and it was telling me that I need to install some glib and gtk stuff, but also xfree86 and xfree86-shlibs. I thought it was smart enough to realize that I had apple's X server installed and would know not to install another one. Why does it want to install that and how can I make it not?
