Hi,
First build in about 4 years for me. I did a bit of research before I threw this list together, so hopefully most of the parts are standard.

Main uses:
Ubuntu w/ XP or Vista VM running
Programming/Web Development
Light gaming - Source games/old RTS. I'm still satisfied w/ my old x800XL thats why I skimped on gfx
I will be upgrading to a 24-30" HDMI monitor later this year, so HD playback is important but I don't think that should be a problem?

If you could help me make sure I haven't severely gimped myself in any area or if you can save me some cash anywhere that would be great too. I was really pretty happy with how much I could get for $650. I also just picked a solid case and PSU on there, if you know of any better combo's let me know.

almost forgot about cooling. do i need to buy additional case fans or thermal paste or anything? i'm 100% clueless on what i need to do about that.
