Woot! Just finished my SB build and all the troubleshooting that came along with it. Was more to it than I was hoping for, but finally all up and running. I have an ASUS P8P67 MB and did the auto-overclock thing and it was quite impressive (to me at least), my i5 2500k according to CPU-Z: 4.327Ghz and my memory is running at 1650Mhz. I might bump down the memory speed back to 1600mhz (if I can figure out how) and tighten up the memory timings a bit (currently at 9-9-9-24) if I can figure out how to do that as well.

This is on air; I actually bought a Rocketfish CPU cooler at Best Buy and it's a nice little cooler (bigger than the stock HSF and yet smaller than the huge Antec one they had there, and it fits in my case). Ran Prime 95 for about 60 minutes and my temp was steady at approx. 70c, is that okay?

Looks like voltage is at 1.3 - good/bad?

Yeah, 70 seems a bit high...especially for a Sandy Bridge processor. Probably within the max tolerance, but still higher than I'd be comfortable with.
According to Intel, TCase is 72.6.

What case are you using? The Hyper 212 Plus is a great cooler for the price and there are plenty of other options as well.

The temp has since settled right into the mid 60's. So I think all is good. But I wouldn't mind toning down the total overclock (I could live with 4ghz) but gonna have to sort through the MB manual to learn how to over-ride the auto-overclock.

As far as the case goes; it's in a Thermaltake V3 Black.

Are those temps idle or load? If idle, you need to get a much better cooler. If at load, they seem reasonable to me.
