Everything else has already been discussed.

If cost were not a factor...what would you say is the best cookware(pots, pans, etc) that money can buy?

Fine cookware doesn't have the "no stick teflon" or similar crap on it. I saw this frying pan at a dept store here and i remember the price for the frying pan alone was $1500 cdn. That must have been some fancy frying pan. I don't know what it was, but it was heavy.

Great pans!

You do NOT need to spend a fortune on copper etc.

There are a few All-clad pans I would own

1 saute pan, because non stick resists formation of the fond, and cast iron is reactive.

A few sauce pans/sauciers, again because they are non-reactive

also

1 nine inch and 1 twelve inch cast iron pans. For pan frying steaks, nothing at any cost is better.

For non stick, what Glen posted is as good as any other pans you would care to mention at any price.

I don't think you have a clue to what you're talking about. Non-stick coating has nothing to do with it being cheap or 'fine'. It's just different type of cookware.

Non stick material is still undergoing tests because it's believed to be toxic. Plus, that non stick material wears off over time and gets into your food. No wonder why the cancer rate is so high these days.

Wow.....I'm glad we have you here to tell us why "everyone" is getting cancer. I am sure a Nobel Prize will be coming your way soon for that tidbit of knowledge. Thanks for the research!
