FinePix S5000 or DiMage Z1 owners...please post some pics.

DPReview Forums are the best place to find "real" samples... (actually, they appear to be transferring domains or something at the moment)

I have an S7000 and I like it fairly well. It does have a little more image noise than some cameras (like Canons), but it is 6MP, so when you print them or resize them to normal size (1600x1200 or whatever), they look spectacular. I printed off a 8x10s at XPPhoto.com and they look awesome.

I bought one of the S5000's a couple of weeks ago despite a couple of professional reviews that were not too good. It is a great camera and takes excellent pictures. The focus assist light allows you to take photos in near complete darkness. I have owned 6 other digital cameras and this is the best combo of price, features and picture quality of them all. It is odd that this camera did not get great pro reviews, but if you look at comsumer reviews it gets overwhelming positive reviews. 10x zoom rocks.

i took the movies & the picture of me holding the trophy in my sig link with my Z1.

BUT, the movies were originally 10 MB each (640x480 & 15 FPS) and the photo was
over 2 MB, so i had to seriously shrink them to avoid exceeding my disk quota.
