my finepix 1300 has bought the farm after 2.5 years of hard service.
looking for a replacement with some type of optical zoom.
the 2mp a205 is 118.00 at walmart.
really not looking to break the 150.00 barrier.
so, should i give it a buy?:)

newegg sells the a205 with 16mb xd card for 126 so it seems like a good price, i think xD is rather pricey though if i recall :/

i like the 2650 2mp i got, but i got it at a steal for 75 instead of 125 or so, and didnt mind about the mem prices

Depends on the memory medium youre comparing it to. xD is a lil bit more than SM and CF.

Wise choice, few other digicams can touch the Fuji A205 in this price range.

In case you are curious, here are the differences between the Fuji 1300 vs A205.

My next digicam purchase will most likely be the Fuji A210 or Canon SD100.

You won't do much better at that price point. As for the memory, xD has come down quite a bit and with a 2MP camera you don't need huge cards anyway.
