It must have taken a lot of ambition to get the car looking the way it is. Too bad that ambition could have gone towards a much nicer car and much more tasteful mods.

Where does that exhaust pipe come up through, the passenger compartment?

What the hell kind of Lincoln was that? It looks like a 80's Ford Escort hatchback. The gas tank opening looks too close to the back, maybe he got rear ended and decided instead of fixing the thing to chop the damaged portion off.

I bet he started with moving the exhaust through the passenger compartment and had a leak, from there the rest of the design came together.

is that roof exhaust connected to anything? I don't see any pipes, or at least what I can see through the dirty windows. You'd think with the work that someone would put into that atrocity, at least they'd keep it clean and the tires inflated. Yuck.

Whenever I see a car like this, I'm pretty sure that the builder/owner knows how ridiculous it is and is in it for the laughs. ("oh! oh! I know! we'll put the exhaust coming out of the giant spoiler!")

I can see the Lincoln logo on the wheel covers, so that's just a guess. But it's obviously a full-size sedan (or was); much larger than an Escort.

Interesting choice to route the exhaust through the passenger area - definitely unique.

My first thought is that the owner wanted to turn it into a four-door coupe? But it is possible that he got rear-ended and just cut off the trunk instead, as you suggest.

The overall shape isn't bad, but the Backend really needs to be re-done. I think a Hatch Back makes perfect sense and some rounding. Also needs converted to 4x4(if not already) and raised a bit.

The key to that look is the rear facing fog lights and the spray painted back windows. Timeless!

Chances are this guy did all the fabrication himself for free and more than likely with scrap material he had laying around.

It's not like he put $1000 wheels and a body kit on this POS...

I'd roll in something like this rather than a newer accord rustbucket.

That's the coolest ride I've seen this year. All it needs is a machine gun on the hood and it would be perfect.

That thing's pretty cool. Ugly, but I appreciate the sense of humor that the owner clearly has.
