Findings about the new axi rmi, etc Crosair PSU's

These will NOT work on all motherboards. I was sent back an ax1200i to replace a bad ax1200. It does not work in the computer it came out of (an X58 chipset motherboard.)

Its DOES work on my 4790K system. So beware. And I opened a ticket with Corsair, and they are idiots, and no help. Lucky I had a newer motherboard to use it on. I asked them which motherboards it does or does not work on, and all they did was link to me how to use the test button, even though in my description, I already said that worked, but no post.

That's very strange. Any idea why it would not be compatible? Does it just not turn on with the old system?
