Finding video driver for laptop

I have a dell 1505 laptop and i was looking to find the latest driver for my video card which is an ati mobility x1400 but there is no such driver found on ati's website? Does anyone know what/where i am suppose to get updated drivers for this card?

Dell's website has what I assume is an outdated driver dating back to august 06 for those who were going to mention that.

I am running Windows MCE btw.

i just checked the ati site. and if you look for drivers under media center, there isnt one listed for your card. but if you look under xp/home pro or vista, then select mobility, the x1400 is listed.

i know they are there for xp but i was under the assumption MCE drivers were different (although probably only a small amount) than those for XP

well MCE is based off of xp... so you'd never know unless you try, right 😛

but i'd try the mobile ones first, b/c theres probably some extra software for power saving etc.

well after downloading the mobile xp 7.3 drivers I am getting errors randomly when either leaving a game, or when my computer goes into standby - which all give me an error message of a video driver being bad ...... guess it doesnt work after all.

You should just stick with what Dell supplies on their website. They will most likely be the most stable drivers that will run on your E1505.
