I am flying this winter to my home country (Bangladesh) and looking for some computer parts deal. I need to build two systems back home. These machines would be used for minor uses and most heavier I can imagine probably for some small editing of home movies.
1. I am thinking about AMD athlon XP. Is that a good choice or given my requirments I can find a cheaper processor? What would be a good motherboard with it? Please throw in some suggestions.
2. Is there any good deal around for motherboard+CPU+RAM combo? What is the best place to find good deals on these?
3. Is there any electronic compatibility issue with buying computer parts in USA and using them in other parts of the world? I know about 110/220 Voltage but I guess for the computer parts that should not be a problem, right?
