finding the name of an old computer news site

Hi everyone,

I've always had a question to ask. I've been reading computer news/review sites such as anandtech and others for quite a few years now. Back in the late 90's, right about when the original geforce came out, there was a site that i always went to first.

I forgot what is was called and i'm wondering if you could help me just for memory's sake. It was a computer news site, similar to hardocp.com. The guy behind this site was named Jeremy and I heard he developed cancer of some sort. (hope this doesn't bring back bad memories). The site had a predominantly green background.

Whatever happened to that news site? It wasn't amdmb.com or a VIA site.
