finding relatives

I have relatives in use that I don't know allot about. They left Russia after WWWII and contact with them was lost couple of years latter. Only thing I know about them is they stopped near New York, picture of them and an address from those years. Anyone know how find someone grand children as most likely they are dead by now. Also some of my friends are auguring that they may not want to be founded. What do you think about that? Anyone ever done similar search if so what did u use/who did u use? How much did it cost you?

how much do pi charge? If it will cost me like $10000 to find them then i don't know if i am that desperate to find them.
