finding old version of 3D Studio Max

Hi all,

I'm in dire need of an old version of Discreet's 3D Studio Max software, in particular 5.1. Now I've looked through every online software vendor I could find and there are absolutely NO copies of 5.1 available. Ebay, Amazon.. nothing.

Do ya'll have any ideas as to where I might locate something like this? I'm just looking for any suggestions whatsoever because I'm getting desperate.

Oh yeah, and the softwares development company, Discreet also doesn't offer a shred of evidence as th thie old 5.1 version.

... not exactly legal, but torrents often have old versions

btw, why do you need such an old version? they are up to 7.5ish right now
 
I think 5.1 may have been an educational(or multi-user) version. We had version 5.1 in our computer labs when I used it back in college a couple years ago. I never could find specifically version 5.1 either.
 
czar, I'm working on a Mod for Max Payne 2 and the software created by Max Payne's development company requires that I export my final mod file using 5.1. Some compatability issue. I've checked torrents but no luck... GAH!!!
