Matrix reload has more complicated plots , better action scenes, and it goes to more details just about everything. I will be glad to
watch matrix reload twice. Finding Nemo, no thanks, there will be a better animated film which is called Sinbad next month.

nemo is great and has good replay value. i enjoyed the movie and also enjoyed the pixar references in the movie. catch the buzz lightyear on the ground in front of the toolbox? 😀

edit: matrix refunded didnt appeal to me too much entertainment-wise. perhaps because i went in with too high of expectations.

Most people didnt like MR because it made you think. They were expecting mindless action(they got that too), but didnt expect to have to use any sort of brain power, whatsoever. I really like allegorical films/plays.

the only thing that i did like about it was that it made me think. the rest was overkill. and the fight scenes were terrible for the most part.

Ahhh your all nubs, Reloaded owned... I dont care fi the onyl good scene in the movie was the highway scene,
that alone was enought to make it a great sequel to Matrix, the onyl reason your disappointed in the movei is cause
it left you hanging, im dying to see Revolutions, and if your not, i repeat nub. Thanks for your time. Flame cause
ill never read this post agian and dont care.

they're both great films. but in twenty years Matrix will be a classic like SW, and Finding Nemo will be just another animated film.

Let me modify this statement a bit:

they're both great films. but in twenty years Finding Nemo will be a classic like Snow White, and Matrix will be just another action film.

Who's to say which way it will turn out in 20 years?

Disney

Disney owns Pixar. Disney will released 10th installment of Finding Nemo: Son of Nemo meets Little Mermaid.

In Nemo? Yeah, the fights were awful

This happened with the first one two. So many people didn't think about The Matrix, and it was originally slammed in reviews. The reviewers just couldn't get thier minds around the idea of the world being a computer program. We saw what then happened once it hit video though. Let some more time pass before you make your decision.

Matrix reload is better than original Matrix . It is better than Star War , Lord of Ring, Titanic in my point of view. Yah it is the best. Why ? Because it makes you think. Nemo is like pron, look all good, but you forget about it after you walk out the theater

The Matrix Reloaded is awesome. It is an awe-inspiring film. Not just the CG and effects, but the utter audaciousness of the Wachowski Brother's to throw out everything you thought you knew. It wasn't more of the same. It wasn't a crowd pleasing 2nd installment that would age poorly with time (Back to the Future 2 anyone). It continues the tradition of fleshing out a trilogy so amazingly that everything you thought you knew about this alternative world suddenly goes out the windows and has to be rewritten.

It's basically saying, in the first Matrix, you shall have a guide named Morpheus who will lead you down the rabbit hole.
In the Matrix Reloaded, they're basically saying, sorry, your guide doesn't know a damn thing and you're on your own.

Yeah, Matrix Reloaded sucked. Sucked like Bladerunner, Gattaca, 2001, Donnie Darko, and all the other challenging films out there that maybe you didn't get at first, but only became better with every single viewing there after.

Matrix reloaded was pretty mediocre, I wasn't at all impressed. I'd give it a 6. Nemo on the other hand was very enjoyable. I have no doubt that when it's all said and done, Nemo will be a 'longer lasting' movie than Matrix Reloaded.

It's not which movie was better movie, it's just that Nemo had a broader appeal. Matrix was mostly frequented by diehard fans and word of mouth kept the average movie-goer away for the most part. From my experience, Nemo had everyone bringing 5-6 kids a pirce to the theaters all that weekend. Definately an excapist movie that is riding on the curtails of Monsters Inc and Toy Story.

Wow, have you people ever heard of apples and oranges?

The Original post was ONLY comparing BOX office numbers. and I also made the statement that G rated films do better at the BO than R Rated films.

all the other commentary had NOTHING to do with my post.

My thoughts exactly. The fact that a lot of time had to spent after watching the movie to figure out the plot and predicting what will happen next, made Reloaded a better movie for me. I thought Nemo was rather sappy. Just my .02.
