Finding IP address on a Dynamic IP login

Hi there,

I hope some can help. How do I find an IP address if that person has an assigned dynamic IP address (the computer will be logged on of course). Is there a program for this, besides having to make that person log on IRC?

Winipcfg or Ipconfig depending on the flavor of Windows that you are on.

That is, for the other person to run. If you need the IP for something like gaming, some of the instant messaging clients will be able to find the other person's IP for you.
