Finding internships for summer..

Anyone know of websites that help college students look for summer internships? I applied to one at inroads.org, but got word that it is currently filled. Are there other similar websites around? Most of the ones I find at my college are only based around the LA area, and I would prefer one up in the Bay Area where I live..specifically in the math/econ field.
 
find companies you're intrested in and email them... they love it if you show ask for them (rather than them recruiting you)

having contacts helps a lot too
