Finding info on discontinued home theater equipment

My dad just gave me his old Kenwood KA-892 receiver, and 2 Bose 70 watt speakers. I want to get rid of these speakers and get something bigger, but don't know the specs on the receiver. He said that it was 125 watts per channel but that doesnt seem right. I checked Kenwoods site and they don't have specs for discontinued models. This receiver was purchased back in 1990. Any ideas on how to find out? Thanks.

Im confused, it says there are 2 channels, but 4 speaker inputs... does this mean that if i had 4 speakers it would only put 60 watts to each speaker? that seems kinda weak.
