They most likely finished filming season 2, and if they'd have found anything it would have immediately been world news. So they haven't found anything.

Guess you can also (re)watch the South Park History Channel/Thanksgiving episode to get a good idea of the proof they'll provide

Im not sold on this, but they have at least offered as much proof that he escaped as anyone has offered that he died. So i consider it at least a possibility.

When I started seeing these show up on the dvr I meant to post to the original thread. hadn't watched any of the season 1 shows yet, but guess it's decent as they've gone with an additional season.

I watched the first episode last night and I was impressed. The house in the jungle with 4ft thick stone walls and 4000 German artifacts was pretty impressive. The new potential escape route was also interesting and completely plausible. That brings the total to 5 which is exactly the sort of thing you would expect - multiple possible routes in case one or more were compromised.

And the opening scene where they were analyzing an photo purporting to be Hitler as an old man in Misiones looks intriguing.

Is this a real show? Is it for morons who think Hitler escaped and now they are scouring the jungles of South America looking for him?

That's my general attitude toward reality tv. I don't really understand it since you have writers for those shows just like scripted dramas so the "reality" portion is subject to debate. However I can see how people can find some entertain value in them in the same way people enjoy soap operas or . . . well . . . scripted television.

So what it really boils down to is whether or not you think everything they present is completely fabricated. Personally, I think they make a good case for it having a basis in genuine historical research. That said, of course a lot of the editing and presentation is done for dramatic effect. That's to be expected. And the dramatic music always cracks me the f*** up. But if you can filter out the kitschy elements, I think it's pretty interesting and educational.

Yeah, I looked at it. And, it appears to be more examining if Hitler could have escaped and not some conspiracy theory Nazi hunt bullshit in the jungles of South America like the "Hunter Bigfoot" or whatever show.
