Finding duplicate files

Hey all,

Does anyone know of software that will scan a harddrive looking for duplicate files and then automatically delete all but one copy? If anyone has any suggestions for some software that is similar to what I am asking for, please let me know!

I appreciate the help, but that post is over 10 years old now... lol.

Most of the software I have come across at this point avoids system files all together. My main concern was to find one that would help with the task of actually cleaning out the duplicate files. Most of the files I am referring to are pictures.

Perhaps you could look into NoClone. It's not free though.
