finding and replacing duplicate files with hard links in linux

On my backup server, which runs debian linux, I have a number of photos where I know that there are duplicate files between some of the directories. Is there a way of finding all such files and replacing them with hard links to a single file? I'm starting to look at fslint, but so far it seems somewhat slow. I have about 200GB to search through.

Thanks for any recommendations.
