Finding an online server through BF2.

To me it's a freaking nightmare. You can't see what it's updating, scrolling down the servers takes an age, the filter doesn't seem to work. All in all a real dick up the arse as far as user interfaces go.

Good fun game, though.

Yep, just sort by ping. Takes me about 10 seconds to find a good server. It's the freaking time it takes to verify the client connection that bugs me.

yes scrolling sucks, but I hardly ever need to scroll to find a good server.

I just get a bunch of '0' pings and empty servers even if I filter out empties.

I also get full servers.... it's as though the filters do jack, even though I click that darned 'apply filter' button

The empty servers filter works for me. The full servers filter doesn't filter at all though.

It is possible to use the All Seeing Eye as a server browser instead, you just have to do a little workaround, but it works great. Check this thread at totalbf2.com: http://forums.totalbf2.com//showthread.php?s=&threadid=10872

Just make sure to read the directions completely.
