Finding an old friend

I'm trying to figure out how to find an old friend that I grew up with. He lived a couple houses down from me and after high school we lost touch. I'd like to get in contact with him and see how everything has been with him, his mom, and brothers. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
