I was born there, but have little to no memory of it.

Most of the website info you'll find is geared towards tourism. I ended up having to pick up the phone and make some calls to find non-tourist info.

I don't know. I will be there in May but I am curious as to what may be there. :)

Not much else I can offer. It's a small island so you can see the whole thing in one trip. Make sure to see Paget Parish since that's were I lived :) Take a picture of my old house!

Nice site, thanks. We'll be there once a week starting May 15th. :)

Never been so this is a very nice change for us. Just keep those pesky hurricanes the heck away! :Q

They actually don't get hit by hurricanes too much. Alot of people think Bermuda is near the Bahama's, but is actually just a couple hundred miles east of the NC coast (you probably already know that).

The turquoise water is unique, and the reefs keep the sharks away. You'll probably have to rent a scooter as cars are for locals only and very regulated. It's a very small island (around 23 square miles or less).
Enjoy the motherland (well, my motherland :) )

edit: I was born in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in Hamilton and lived in Paget for several years, but just my baby years. I studied the place for a while but have yet to visit as an adult.

Oh they don't have to get hit by a hurricane for it to affect me. Hurricanes affect HUGE areas of water. Fabian (2003) hit dead on though. Isabel missed but created some serious problems for the ships and the mid atlantic.
