Finding a specific PSU

So let me get a lil back story first. The PC I have now is fine, however I decided to make my intrest in building computers a hobby to try and get rid of boredom, and maybe meet some people on island that are into the same thing. Bought a bunch of tools and some metal and acrylic supplies

Usually I just do a little research, buy the parts, throw them together, and boom all done.
Now I am going into building higher quality systems and after market modding scene.

So my first Project is to do a series of upgrades to make a DX11 Westmere High-end gaming rig, that also looks very professional and cool inside and out.

So one of the components I am looking for is a PSU with good efficiency, has 6 pin and 8 pin PCI-E connectors, is ATX12v 2.2 and EPS12v 2.91 compatible, decent 12v rails with good amps, and is modular. Being modular is the key thing I want but it eliminates alot of PSU's. Currently I run a PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750w Quad(Black One) it has been going 1+ years for me now without a hiccup.

My machine is going to need 824w according to the eXtreme PSU calculator. I am also going to need the amps on the 12v rails to be able to run 2 cards from the GTX 300 series(DX11 Nvidia Offering) IF the PSU can run 2 GTX 295 in SLI it should be good enough(GTX295 has min req of 46a)

Now I have been to JohnnyGuru and HardOCP and read some of his reviews only to find that some of the PSU that were very good performance wise, crapped out in less then 1 year according to reviews on Newegg. Which makes me weary, but also note that it could be because the buyer didn't do proper research as I am now and overloaded the PSU.

The Corsair 1000w is looking better and better, but I am looking for other options before plunking down the money.

First ignore newegg reviews.

Second, do you want it to be fully modular? I would guess not since you are looking at the Corsair.

Also look at Silverstone Decathalons and Striders those are 100% modular.

Enermax Revolution 85+ 850@W, 950W, 1050W are not fully modular, but is VERY efficient
Seasonic M12D 850W also not fully modular is very efficient.
New BFG EX-1200 also not fully modular, is very efficient

Thx. Yeah the Enermax are very nice but they sure are pricey. I may just end up waiting until the new GTX 300 series is released and just upgrade my PSU then.
