K.... this is going to sound awkward.

I lost my Office XP Professional CD (its somewhere in this big room...), but I need to reinstall Windows.

Now a friend who has the same exact version is going to let me borrow his Office XP CD... well of course you are well aware of activation and its "benefits"

Is it possible that I can find my Office XP key somewhere in the registry so I can legally register Office. I dont want to use cracks and such, because I actually legally own this product

Hope someone can help me!!

Call MS. Seriously. If you're legit, MS should be able to help you out as long as you have previously registered.
