Been searching for one and I can't seem to find. Is this a limitation of the chipset, Z170 MB all max out at 64GB but they have 2 or 3 M.2 Slots. X99 MB can support 128GB but they only have 1 M.2. May be I should wait for Z270 ?

Thanks

Don't forget the Intel's HEDT CPUs comes in two PCIe lane versions, 28 and 40. Most likely you will need the 40 lane ones if you want to use 2 or 3 M.2 slots.

You missed my point.

6700k is Skylake which is socket 1151 only supports 64Gb. Therefore you're not going to find a Z170 board that supports more than 64Gb as the processors for that socket don't support more than 64Gb. 6850k is Broadwell-E which is socket 2011-v3, and supports 128Gb of RAM which is why you see X99 boards that support 128Gb of RAM.

just get an m.2 PCIe adapter then you can easily run two m.2 drives on a motherbaord.
